What I am seeing in this video.
I think first shooting was justified. Photographers are intermixed with people openly carrying weapons. Cameras did look like guns from up above. This is the risk reporters took and they must have realized it when they went in.
Second volley is different. Gunner starts by lying to his commander.
"They are picking up guns and bodies" is not the same as "Two unarmed men are loading a wounded man into van." He lied so he would get to squeeze that trigger again. Just minutes ago he was looking at agonizing man on the ground, so he knew that it is a hurt man they are rushing to load in, not a body.
There were ground troops approaching the scene, two men were exposed and unarmed, he could have put a round in the van to disable it in order to make sure ground troops round everybody up. Instead he chooses to chop everybody in pieces and enjoys it.
Some accuse driver of having children in vehicle in the war zone- we don't know where they came from and if they are driver's children or not. All we know is men arrive to a pile of bodies, immediately concentrate on a wounded man, and instead of fleeing in terror, try to help him, before being mowed down.
Just another disgusting chapter of disgusting war.
